21.10.07: PHASE ONE EXPANSION – Complete

A huge thanks to all of our staff for their help in moving into our new premises.
It took three long back breaking days and wouldn’t have been possible without their efforts.

Contractors have been working at the new premises for over six weeks now and have finally completed the required modifications to the ground floor offices, seal repair lab and stores.

Our new VOIP telephone system been installed and so far is a resounding success.

We finished the electrical upgrade in the new workshop over the weekend installing test bays, machinery, epoxy flooring and low bay metal halide lights, it looks excellent.

Thanks to everyone’s efforts only one day’s output has been lost during the move.

We are fully operational and bar a few alterations to the reception area are ready to begin enjoying our new and improved work place.

05.06.07: Future Expansion Plans – Secure

Fluid UK secured their future expansion plans recently by purchasing the land and existing development of seven modern light industrial units, named ‘Falcongate Industrial Estate’.

The estate consists of 12,500sq’ of purpose built workshops and offices sited on an acre of much sought after land.  Within 500m of the Liverpool Tunnel, M53 Motorway and the increasingly thriving Port, RO-RO Ferry Terminal, the new Cruise Ship Terminal and the new Deep Sea Cargo Terminal, it is ideally positioned to serve all our current and future customers in the North West.

The purchase will allow expansion into further Units as we grow, meaning we can design and plan our facility around us.

We will immediately begin Phase One of our Three Phase planned expansion, moving to Units 5 & 6.

This will immediately treble our Pump Repair Workshop size, double our storage capability, provide a Mechanical Seal Repair Laboratory and provide much needed increased office space.
